Daily Fix: Belhadj Seals Pompey Move

-Portsmouth FC announced the permanent signing of Algerian leftback Nadir Belhadj from French side RC Lens for a fee of €4.5 million. Belhadj has impressed at Pompey since joining in the summer, making 16 league apearances and scoring 2 goals. The move will be official on January 1st, the opening day of the transfer window.

-Celta Vigo will probably be without Algerian international Kamel Ghilas for their upcoming league game against Hércules. The club has announced that it has granted the forward a leave of absence to deal with personal matters.

-Footgoal.net is reporting that RAEC Mons striker Mohamed Dahmane could be joining Turkish first division side Sivasspor, who sit in first in the Turkish league at the winter break. Dahmane, who is his club's top scorer this season with 7 goals, was close to signing for another Turkish club in the summer, Eskisehir who are the feeder club of powerhouse Besiktas. Dahmane has also been linked with various Belgian clubs this season including Standard Liège and La Gantoise.

-Amiens SC midfielder Foued Kadir is still being rumoured with a move to Valenciennes FC, who are facing a relegation battle and looking to strengthen the squad for the second half of the season. The technically gifted 25-year old playmaker has been one of the best players for Amiens since joining in the summer of 2007 from AS Cannes. In other Valenciennes news, the club will be without injured Djamel Belmadi and Yacine Bezzaz for their Round of 32 French Cup tie against Toulouse.

-JS Kabylie goalkeeper Fawzi Chaouchi is rumoured to be leaving the club at the end of the seaosn and is already in talks with ES Sétif and MC Alger. Chaouchi has had a string of discipline problems with manager's and the team president since replacing Gaouaoui in the starting line up last season. JSK could find Chaouchi's replacement in NA Hussein Dey's Malik Asselah.

-According to various sources in France, FC Metz midfielder Laurent Agouazi could be joining Ligue 1 side Grenoble Foot. The 24-year old midfielder, despite being one of Metz' best players last season in Ligue 1, has not had the best start this year, scoring just 1 goal in 11 appearances.
